♥This memorial is dedicated to my wee ma Betty who passed away suddenly on the 18th October
2006,and I miss her every day. She had twelve children,nine boys and three daughters.Two brothers
passed when they were children.What can I say about my Mother? She was a character ,and when we were
together she loved to reminice about all the times gone by,good and bad. She loved the bingo and we
were there twice a week.She also liked a game of cards & loved winning.A game could go on for hours,
and she wouldn't give up till she had beaten everyone in the game.I thought my Ma would be here
forever,but that's not the way life goes is it.

I felt an angel's touch today,
in the midst of my despair.
Twas sent by God, Himself, to say,
"be still and know I'm there."
To lead through days of darkness,
and light your way with love.
Be still and know, deep in your heart,
I'm reigning from above.
I'll lift you when you stumble,
I'm with you all the time.
I understand and share your pain;
remember child of mine,
The end is coming quickly;
the Lord shall soon appear.
To resurrect the righteous ones,
I love and hold so dear.
And bring them home, into a place,
where broken hearts are healed.
And promises I made to you,
will finally be fulfilled.
This life is but a spot in time,
a place for lessons learned.
Heaven holds the key to all,
your broken spirit yearns.
I sent an angel down today,
to show my words are true.
You're never far, beyond the arms,
of all God's love for you.

Lord, in this hour I need you, more than words could ever tell.
I feel as if I'm stranded on shores between heaven and hell...
I know you haven't left me, yet my heart feels void of hope.
I feel as if I'm hanging on an old and thread worn rope...
I feel as if my hearts been torn from the breast from which it came.
And sunshine will no longer fill my life, only clouds of darkness and rain...
I know this will pass,
and you will be there to give me comfort and strength and hope.
But until then I can't help the feeling that I'm down to that last thread of rope...
If it breaks, you'll be there to catch me, and raise me back to my feet...
But for now my world is in turmoil, and the essence of life is not sweet...

Remembering My Mother - by Belinda Stotler
My Mother seems so far away from me,
On that beautiful white shore across the sea.
Yet I remember love’s soft glow upon her face,
And the feel of her touch and tender embrace.
When I am weary from the burdens I’ve borne,
And the path is unclear and I feel so forlorn.
I remember her loving support was always near,
And her advice made the path ahead seem clear.
When I feel there is no one who seems to care,
Or when the heartache seems too hard to bear.
I remember how she always stood by my side,
And would tenderly wipe away the tears I cried.
When there are moments of great joy and pride,
And I wish my Mother was standing at my side,
I remember she saw more than I thought I could be,
And I know I owe my triumphs to her belief in me.
When I reminisce about the things she used to say,
And I miss her and think she is so far away,
I remember what she gave lives on through me,
And one day I’ll see her on the shore across the sea.
